With Team Liquid becoming the first North American team to make the playoffs of a Major since ESL One Cologne 2014, we caught up with Jonathan 'EliGE' Jablonowski and Eric 'adreN' Hoag of the team afterwards.
The Group B winners' match featured Liquid defeating the world's best team fnatic in a double overtime thriller on de_dust2 to become the first North American team to leave the group stage since an old Cloud9 lineup had done so at ESL One Cologne 2014.
Although most of the team had crucial performances, two standout players in particular were Eric "adreN" Hoag and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, who had several multi-kill rounds between them. HLTV.org interviewed both players after the match.
You will be able to find all of our future interviews from the Major, as well as highlight videos at our YouTube channel which can be found here.
